Abyssphere is a new Russian doom (a little bit prog) metal band. Their latest album "Images and Masks" has just recently replaced all other doom metal bands (like Paradise Lost, Tristania and etc.) and become my favorite. I especially like their combination of vocals, somehow folk-metal-like melody and I found Russian to be a very attractive language, for the first time.
